Responsible Gambling: A Short Checklist From Bets.io
At Bets.io, gambling is for adults and for entertainment; this checklist helps keep it that way, and [email protected] can exclude you from play if you need distance.
Before you play
- I know how much I can afford to spend, and I will not go over it.
- I have set a time limit.
- I am not stressed, low, under pressure, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
While you play
- I do not raise stakes to win back losses.
- I take a break when I get tired or lose focus.
- I use one account, so I can see what I really spend.
Time to pause if
You spend or play more than planned, chase losses, borrow for gambling, gamble to escape problems or hide it from others. Pathological gambling is a recognised illness, and noticing early helps.
Self-exclusion in one step
Write to [email protected] and ask for self-exclusion. You cannot open a new account while it lasts, and if gambling has become a problem, an indefinite exclusion is recommended. The full rules are in the Responsible Gambling policy on bets.io.
Children in the home
Only adults aged 18 and over may play. Keep your login private, avoid saved passwords on shared devices and consider parental control software; accounts of minors are suspended.
